Children's Activity Day

Greenock Morton Supporters' Trust - Children's Activity Day Friday the 13th April saw Greenock Morton football Club, Greenock SportsCentre and the Greenock Morton Supporters' Trust come togetherto organise a Children's Activity Day within the Sports Centre aimed at promoting football and fitness to children ages from 5 to 13 years. The event was funded with assistance from Network Rail.

Did You Know?

Morton takes its name from Morton Terrace where the first ball was kicked by a Morton football team albeit in a muddy field in front of the tenement flats. There is some dispute about this as some believe the club was name after Provost James Morton. Can you name another club named after a person?
